Acoustic Demo — Full Band

What she came with: An acoustic recording — just voice and guitar. The song was finished, but it sounded like a demo. Agnieszka wanted to hear it played by a full band.
What was done: A complete arrangement for a full line-up — drums, bass, guitars and extra instruments, plus vocal editing and mastering. The acoustic demo became a finished, full-sounding track.
Rehearsal Take — Studio Version

What he came with: A rough recording from a rehearsal. The song itself was there — but it sounded like a rehearsal room, not a record.
What was done: Full arrangement work — new instrument parts added around the original performance, everything polished and produced to studio standard, with mixing and a mastered vocal. The rehearsal take became a proper studio version.
Folk Session

What he came with: A folk track he had recorded himself about ten years ago — playing all the instruments he could get his hands on. The song was dear to him, but the recording sounded homemade and dated.
What was done: The track was rebuilt with a fresh, full arrangement — new instrument parts, modern production, mixing and mastering. The song kept its soul, but finally got the professional sound it deserved.
Indie Track — Guitar & Arrangement

What he came with: An indie track he wrote for his band and recorded himself in his DAW. He laid down his own rhythm guitar parts, but the track needed a lead guitar — solo playing just isn't his thing — and the arrangement needed some professional polish.

Once someone sent me a voice message: a melody hummed into a phone in the kitchen, with a dripping tap in the background. The note said, “Here is an idea. I do not know what to do with it.”
I listened five times. Then I picked up my guitar.
Three days later, the same melody had live guitars, bass, atmospheric keys and percussion. It was still their idea — only now it sounded like the song they had been hearing internally.
That is how I see arrangement: translation. You hear something inside, and I help it come out as real music without replacing your accent with mine.
Pro Tip
Do not clean the life out of a demo before sending it. Timing, phrasing and even the imperfect little noises can reveal what the finished arrangement needs.
I work across blues-rock, funk, indie, pop, metal, jazz and electronic music. My background is rooted in live instruments and groove, but the production method changes with the song.
Sometimes the answer is one carefully recorded guitar part. Sometimes it is a full arrangement with drums, bass, keys, textures and orchestral layers. Bigger is not automatically better; the track gets what it actually needs.
You hear the direction early and stay involved. It is a conversation, not a mysterious package that appears at the end with twelve unnecessary tambourines.
Pro Tip
Send two or three reference tracks. One can show the energy, another the instrumentation, and the third the space or mood you want.
